Why I Built My Own Deck
Everything in my healing work rests on one idea: the same law governs everything, a galaxy and an atom, a nervous system and a single choice you make today. When I talk about energy fields, resonance, and getting back in phase with yourself, I'm not reaching for a metaphor. I'm describing something that shows up at every scale, including the scale of an ordinary hard season in someone's life.
I kept noticing that the people I work with tend to be somewhere specific in a cycle: coasting easily, climbing toward something, quietly pulled off course, genuinely in the dark, or on the way back up wiser than before. Existing card systems could gesture at that, but I wanted a deck built around the cycle itself, so I made one. The Return Deck is forty-five cards, organized around nine stations of a single rising spiral and five lenses on where each station shows up in your life.
"A low point isn't proof something has gone wrong. It's a phase, and phases move, especially once you can actually see which one you're standing in."
How The Return Deck Works
The nine stations run in a fixed order, like a lap of a spiral rather than a straight line: Entrainment (in sync, at ease), Rising (real momentum), The Pull (the first tug toward disconnection), The Turn (the actual choice point), Descent (the dark stretch, and what it's for), The Fork (the hinge, still in service of others or quietly turning inward), The Bottom (capacity to choose has run out), Rescue (help arriving from outside), and The Return (back to alignment, one full turn wiser). Every card belongs to one of these nine phases.
Each station is seen through five lenses, the same phase showing up in five genuinely different areas of life: Color (your inner state), Spiral (your overall direction), Cymatics (relationships), Geometry (the practical and material), and Fractal (daily habits). And every card is reversible. Reversed doesn't mean wrong, it means the people or systems around you haven't caught up to where you've already moved. The work is still to keep rising through it.
Color
Your inner state, before it shows up anywhere else
Spiral
The big picture, your overall life direction
Cymatics
Relationships and communication
Geometry
The material and practical: work, resources, what you've built
Fractal
Daily habits, the small repeated choices
Tarot Is Still Here Too
The Return Deck is what I built, but it's not a replacement for tarot, and I still read with traditional tarot regularly. If you'd rather work with a familiar 78-card system, that's completely available. I've written separately about how I actually use tarot as a reflection tool, not a fortune, which covers the same non-fortune-telling approach I bring to The Return Deck. You don't need to choose in advance. Tell me what you're carrying, and if a card pull helps, we'll pick whichever deck actually fits the question.
Two Ways a Reading Shows Up in a Session
Card Reading & Coaching
The reading is the main tool for the full 45 minutes. We pull a spread, real conversation about what it's surfacing, and direct coaching on what to actually do with it. Same price and format as every other session, $100, 45 minutes, via Google Meet.
Card-Guided Energy Healing
At the start of a regular energy healing session, you can opt into a quick card pull first, used to help point the energy work at what actually needs it that day instead of guessing. It's optional, it doesn't change the price or the 45 minutes, and you can skip it entirely if you'd rather go straight into energy work.
What This Isn't
Same as I say about tarot on its own: I'm not claiming to predict your future, tell you when something specific will happen, or diagnose anything. A card naming an ending is a prompt to talk honestly about what's actually ending in your life right now, not a prophecy. If what you want is a classic psychic reading, someone claiming to see specific future events, that's a different thing than what I offer.
Worth being upfront about too: The Return Deck isn't available to buy yet. It's currently in production as a physical printed deck. Right now it exists as the deck I actually read from in sessions, not yet a retail product.
